Title: The Words You Need to Hear

These are the words you need to hear. God loves you, God wants you, God has provided a way to reconcile you to Him even if it means sacrificing His own Son whom He loves just for you, even if you were the only person on earth, He'd do it even if you hate Him now. But guess what, He did it already. Christ gave up His life so that you would have a way to receive life. God has a purpose for your life and He has set things in motion to bring you to Him, to have eternal life and peace on earth, and to move you to this purpose.
You may not understand the things that are going on around you, or why you're hurting and and suffering so much, but God is here; He's not just waiting for you to notice Him, He has caused situations in your life, and placed people in your path so that you might see what God is doing in your life, where He wants to take you, and to move you to what you were made for: a personal relationship with Him.
God never gave up on you; Jesus suffered a lot to the point of death for your sake (Hebrews 12:3). You may not see it now, but I pray you will very soon, because it'll be the beginning of a wonderful life that should have started a long time ago. It's not too late so don't think that the things you've done are too bad that you've lost your chance. When you come to God, when you allow Him to change your heart, when you acknowledge what He's done for you on the cross by believing in your heart and confessing with your mouth, He will forgive all your sins; nothing will be held against you anymore. The blood that Jesus shed on the cross for you will clean your records and wash away the stains of sin. He will be an advocate if you sin again. What's even better is that you'll have His Holy Spirit within you to guide you and help you to resist temptations.
It is not too late, but don't wait for tomorrow. As the Scriptures say, Today is the day of Salvation (2 Corinthians 6:2). Tomorrow is not guaranteed, neither is the next hour, or minute.
In the midst of any storm, God will protect you, He'll will ride it out with you, He will uphold you above high waters, and when the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him (Isaiah 59:19b). He will be the calm when your world is crashing, He will be your Sovereign God, Your Holy Father, and the best friend anyone could have.
Christianity is a story of love; a love from Father to child, God to man, Master to servant; a love to the point of death.
As followers of Christ, we are to respond to this love by loving God as a child loves his Father, as creation loves his Creator and as a servant loves his Master; a love to the point of trust, faithfulness, reverence and submission.
When it comes to Jesus, it's a love deeper than friends, He is one who sticks closer than a brother. He gave his life for us, He was wounded and crushed because of our sins; by taking our punishment, He made us completely well. (Isaiah 53:5)
Ephesians 3:14-21 (The Message)
My response is to get down on my knees before the Father, this magnificent Father who parcels out all heaven and earth. I ask him to strengthen you by his Spirit -- not a brute strength but a glorious inner strength -- that Christ will live in you as you open the door and invite him in. And I ask him that with both feet planted firmly on love, you'll be able to take in with all followers of Jesus the extravagant dimensions of Christ's love. Reach out and experience the breadth! Test its length! Plumb the depths! Rise to the heights! Live full lives, full in the fullness of God.
God can do anything, you know -- far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams! He does it not by pushing us around but by working within us, his Spirit deeply and gently within us.
