Title: Who is Jesus?

While is important to preach the message of the Gospel of salvation -- That Jesus came to earth in the form of man, to reconcile man to God, by the forgiveness of our sins, by shedding his blood and dying on the cross, so that who ever believes in Him, in what he has done, and allows Him to be Lord of our lives, would then not perish, but be saved and have eternal life in heaven with God. It is also important to preach to people who this Saviour is, in whom we believe, and who are we making Lord of our lives. When we become Christians we become friends of Jesus; doesn't it make sense that we begin to know him personally? Wouldn't this add value to our new found friendship in Him?
So how do we get to know our friend Jesus? I guess one obstacle is the fact that we have never met him face to face in the flesh. That is why we have the Bible. God wrote a book about himself for us, so that we can know him better, so that he can teach us His way to salvation to reconcile him back to us. And when we openly embrace Him and His Word (the Bible) we allow the Spirit to move in us so that we can be one with Him and He, one with us.
In the near future, I will make these Bible verses accessable right here, but for now I invite you to actively search through your Bible, it might inspire you to read more, and perhaps contribute what you read right here! Jesus is both Man and God
Jesus is 100% God, 100% man. Having God's holy glory, he came to earth in the form of a man, born with man's sinful nature. But because of His holiness, he committed no sin.
The "Man" side of him: Born of a virgin* woman, Mary, who married Joseph, of Jewish descendent, rejected by many.
The "God" side of him: He is our healer, teacher, friend, and miracle worker, Son of God, conceived not by man but by the spirit*, prophet, shepherd, saviour, and forgiver of our sins, sent from God. He was crucified by men who hated him, and rejected His Teaching, but he was sent to be crucified to pay the debts of our sins. And he vectored over the power of death by his resurrection.
